Honda civic LX power antenna ?? HELP! (1 Viewer)

OK, I got a new car a couple weeks ago and I just put my head unit in. Now I don't get any AM reception. I've heard that the new civics have a power antenna of sorts that requires and remote turn on from the headunit.

Is this true??

What colour would it be on the Honda side of things.

I guess I wouldn't care so much if I didn't listen to talk radio so much

It would seem logical to think that the wires that run back to the power antennae would be the same as the ones on the plug in for the radio. On my honda you can access the power antennae through the trunk after removing a panel on the left side of the trunk. I only suggest resorting to this if no one else replys to you, good luck!

Actually I'm not sure fi it's antenna problem or a remote trigger problem.

The Fm reception is still strong though.
