when running speaker wire in your walls...what gauge would you reccomend?

umm... fronts about 10 feet each or so... rears about 20-25 feet of cable i would think

I always recommend 12 gauge OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) for such installations. I used it in mine and it is flexible and large enough for most possible future needs.

There are lots of sources for such wires (Home Depot, etc.) I used SOUNDKING wire from Parts Express HERE. Around $0.30 - $0.40 per foot depending on quantity. Well worth it, IMHO.
