I am looking into setting up a home theatre, I am looking at a 5.1 system. I would use it for watching films 80% of the time and 20% for music. I've been looking around at receivers and speakers and TV's this is what I would be happy to spend and a kind of rough budget. $ AV Receiver 600-700 Media Player 1080p 130 Centre 150-200 Front 600 Rear 200 Subwoofer 350-400 TV 60" Sharp LC-60E88UN 1500 This is the list of speakers etc. I have been looking at, the Polk speakers seem very good for their price should I stick to the one brand or mix them up. I also priced them to spend more money on the front and subwoofer but should i get the same floorstanding speakers for the rear? The receiver I could get a cheaper one as i dont think i need one that expensive for now but I would rather spend good money on it now rather than upgrading it in the future. Any other suggestions, questions or ideas please comment.
