There is a review on Audioholics for the Pio AJ as well. It never dips below 6.4(for the tower).

Essentially, both sets of speakers are beginner sets your are going to get the upgrade bug with in 2-4 years.

These aren't Polk RTi or JBL ES that you'd have for 15 years.

Or Zu or Ohm Walsh you'd be leaving to your favorite grandchild in your will.

Here are the main speakers in my 4 theatres....

Infinity Crescendo 3007
BIC V830
DCM TF600
Polk S6

Look those up. You should be able to find each one of those for less than the Pio AJ and Infinity Primus...and all 4 of those will eat either of those for breakfast, shit them out for lunch and mop them up at dinner with some Chianti.

Of course in the same breath the one guy bought the Denon AVR591. I wonder why his set of monitors got louder(which many people mistake louder for sounding better) with the UPA7.

Go from a wheezing 30wpc to 80wpc.

http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-Energy-Surround-Speakers-W0QQAdIdZ543918373 (stupid good deal)
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-Polk-Audio-RTi4-CSi3-bookshelf-Center-Speaker-W0QQAdIdZ542492268 (surround and center for the RTi6 in the other post)
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-PSB-500-Speakers-W0QQAdIdZ535180050 (several centers and Alphas to finish the 5.0)
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-JBL-Home-Speakers-W0QQAdIdZ540118744 (if you want a cheap 5.0. At least pay not a whole lot for it)
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-11piece-Complete-Home-theatre-package-W0QQAdIdZ533954066 (yeah the AVR included is a door stop...but ????)
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-JBL630-Loudspeakers-W0QQAdIdZ497242641 (absolute bargain. Will wipe the floor with the Primus/AJ/Monitor)

http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-Cerwin-Vega-D3-Digital-250-SE-Centre-Channel-Speakers-W0QQAdIdZ532031479 (Cerwin Vega D series make Klipsch Snyergy/Icon/R all beg for mercy. I had a pair of D9 once. Best "loud" speaker ever made. Your ears will bleed...and these will ask for even more power)
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-KLIPSCH-HERITAGE-HERESY-I-SPEAKERS-W0QQAdIdZ505825124 (these would fill your basement all by themselves...on a 20 watt amp)
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-ICON-VF-35-TOWER-CENTER-CHANNEL-SPEAKERS-W0QQAdIdZ504731059 (not as good as the prior Icon...but I wouldn't kick these out of my living room)
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-For-sale-Home-audio-surround-sound-speakers-W0QQAdIdZ529838424 (odd matchup...but the main speakers are worth reselling everything else for)
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-Mission-Argonauts-Final-Version-Man-Cave-edition-W0QQAdIdZ542716910 (rare bird here)
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-Mission-734-Floor-speakers-mint-condition-W0QQAdIdZ528489387 (these are fabulous, there are enough Mission on here to finish a 5.0)

By the way. Begging you. BEGGING YOU to consider the KEF C75 with the KEF 2005. Run a 7.1.

You'll still need a sub cause the sub included with the the 2005 package won't make a dent with what the C75 will do in the bass region.

By the way. That Wharfedale sub I said "don't pass on"...

That is $1095.

Here are those three links...
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-KEF-C75-Floor-Standing-Speakers-150Watts-4Ohms-Black-W0QQAdIdZ544170929
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-KEF-KHT2005-2-5-speakers-and-1-sub-Used-Silver-W0QQAdIdZ539525186
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-electronics-Wharfedale-Pro-Titan-Sub-A15-Powered-Loudspeaker-W0QQAdIdZ535178543

If you don't put that together for $1095. You are the internet idiot of the year.

Edit:
You might, might...get to talk the guy down to $300 on those C75. Depends how pristine there are. There are two pairs on Ebay in the US. One set for $350 and another for $250(seller is also selling with $25 shipping...with 0 feedback. That listing has Greek tragedy all over it)

The Onkyo AVR has variable crossovers. No, the smaller KEF won't get drowned out...cause you set gains in the AVR. Or, you let Aid do it.Your 5/7.0 portion should be the same brand. Series as well, but KEF Uni use the same style of tweeter, no matter what series.
