Sam, I'm baffled how this spatial audio is a thing. Apple is now saying they're leaving stereo behind? We left it behind decades ago with this thing called surround-sound.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that the producers are mixing this way, I'm just skeptical this will be of any value to J6P.

4K and Ultra HD (or UHD) are the same thing, 2160x3840. UHD means Ultra High Definition, as opposed to regular HD which is 1080x1920. HDR means high dynamic range, expanded brightness and color gamut, which is only available in 4K.

Yeah I know. What I'm asking, or trying to clarify, is why they apparently have two options for 4K. Are they even releasing things in 4K but not HDR? Seems strange if so.
