Home Theater System for Gaming (First Time User!) (1 Viewer)

Hi guys!
I'm new on this forum and this is my first post!

I am looking for a basic home theater setup that is mainly use for gaming, around $800 max.


I have:
1) 45' LG LCD HDTV (2 HDMI inputs, 2 component inputs, 2 AV inputs)
2) PS3 (using HDMI)
3) Xbox 360 (using component)
4) Wii (using AV)


Note, this is my first theater system ever, so I know NOTHING about them. I am going to most likely just follow straight off the manual when trying to plug everything.

I've looked around the forum and many of you have recommended the Onkyo HT-S6100 - In Stock at OneCall.com and I'm liking it.

Do you guys have any other recommendations? Also, what kind of cables would I also need to purchase? Don't want to get the system only to go home and find out I'm missing cables for setting up.

Don't purchase cables from the same place you get your system. They will probably push Monster or some other high priced brands. Monoprice.com is the best source for cables for me and thousands of other forum users.

Of course! I know better than that =)

I know this system comes with two speaker stands, but I would really prefer to have two more. What other home theater systems would you guys recommend if I wanted 5.1 rather than 7.1?
