I just bought a 36" Tau and rv-31 dvd player. I also have a kenwood Kenwood SW-303 sub. My room is aprox. 11x14 feet. I`m looking for a receiver speaker package to complement what I currently have. This will be my first HT system. I was considering the Yamaha AV-R520 with Polk RT35i up front with the CS-245 center and f/x300 for the rear. Is this a good comb? Should I also consider other receivers and speakers?

    Thanks for your advice.

    Hiya Dan,

Try and audition some domestic brand speakers too if you can. There's a lot of good import brands but once you get down to it, the domestics usually deliver alot more sound for your loonie.

Seems like there's quite a few Canadians on this forum, eh? Neat to see one from Ottawa.
