Recently inherited a barely used Yamaha RX-V363 unit, that initially I want to swap into my stereo system first, will develop video/TV connections later. Want to connect all the old-school devices- turntable, cassette deck, CD player, even a reel to reel. Inputs on back are all digital (cd, dvd, sat box, etc) so wondering if any of those will be audio-friendly in terms of device output voltage and impedance characteristics. And what's best for grounding turntable to it.
Thanks, PJay

You can use the analog (red and white) inputs for everything except the turntable. You’ll need an external phono preamp for that. That should have a ground connection on it.

Just out of curiosity what is the Yamaha RX-V363 replacing? Any issues with what you where using before?

If it is just for two channel sources did you considered vintage gear? What did you end up getting?
