Very nice equipment, setup, and photos.
    1 question:
Do you move the CDM-9NTs out when you're listening?
I know (well, seeing the picture I know now [IMG] ) that they're front ported, so being against the wall wouldn't hurt them too much. Even still, most speakers will sound better away from a wall, and in front of the gear that's between them.

Nice site and great setup-There sure is a lot speakers in that room. Is there anyway to hide those wires behind your gear? I like the well-disguised cooling system!

nice set up indeed, as an owner of the CDM7NTs, I too can appreciate you speaker set up. I have read some reviews on the 7 and 9, and sometimes the reviews say something to the effect that why would anyone want the black finish when you have 2 good choices of wood finish, I don't know about you , but the black looks very nice to be, very classy and you can see the texture and the wood grain, it is supple, but nice (plus not everyone wants the natural and cherry colors they offer, I agree that they are beautiful, but I am not sure I want to have the worry about matching my furnature to the speakers and be limited in anyway, this way the wife can work around it.

    good job, enjoy!!

if you listen to your speakers with the grills off, you should consider popping the tweeter screens off as well (I don't since I have young kids, but will in the future)

Very nice set-up, Rajee. I have the 9NTs and I love the open, airy sound as well.

I think you could benefit from moving them out into the room a little more as Steve mentioned. If you have them a little more foward it would create an arc in the front soundtage that would make all three speakers equidistant to the listening position(you won't have to compensate electronically), and I would be suprised if it didn't improve your imaging also.

Very nice, but how does all the stuff stay on the shelfs with your dual CS's + rocking the house?

Very nice setup. I'm sure you'll enjoy it for years to come (or until the next upgrade).

Hmm,which is more important..congrats on a great looking room or congrats on a new child?Either way,job well done!It is nice to clean gear,no finger prints, smudges etc...but that will change.I have an open rack as well and I am constantly following the kids with a slightly damp old t-shirt rag.

    Rajeek,

Your setup is just beautiful. Really nice choice of equipment, and I especially like the rack. Would you mind telling me how you are powering that little computer fan?

    Thanks,

    Russ
