Thought I would share some photos of my progress. You guys have been very helpful with answering my questions so maybe there are things you will see in the photos that may save my butt down the line

Looks good so far. However, I'd avoid using an ottoman for the seating that you already have. Once you get confortable and starting to use the area, the construction has a tendency to slow down!

You do not know how true that is. I am constantly finding that chair and having a seat for any little excuse I can come up with.
