I want to get a new hometheater system. I want some thing good quality. Really want something with wireless rear speakers atleast and would like it to be $500 or less.

Hi Henri - For your budget you will need to take into consideration: Reciever, 5.1 speakers, DVD Player, video cabling, audio cabling, speaker cabling, subwoofer cabling, and surge protection.

You won't be able to find a good quality home entertainment system with a budget of $500 (and certainly not one with wireless capabilities). You may want to start by reading here:

Sounds like you want a HTiB. Not likely to find wireless speakers either. Wireless speakers aren't really worth it anyway because you need to use a bunch of batteries, or plug them in which defeats the point. Just run wires.
