Trying to figure out what "Home Theater in a box" kit is best for me. I will be using this with a 30" sharp tv, xbox, ps2, and a Philips DVD(Dolby/DTS compatible). Here are the 3 kits I was considering and would like to see what you guys thought:

    Onkyo
    8" 150wat powered sub
Front and center speakers with dual 5 1/4 woofers and 1" tweeters
    rear w/ 4" woofer 1" tweeters
    4 s video inputs/3assignable digital inputs
    Dolby Digital Receiver
    total 650 watts
    its $550
Trying to get the best bang for the buck in the $500ish range.

Kenwood also makes a great HTIB set in the sub-$500 price range.

I'd pass on the Philips/Magnavox set and decide between the Onkyo and the Kenwood set.

Personally, I prefer the Kenwood, but many will disagree.

I third the Onkyo or the Kenwood. Stay away from the other two. You will be very impressed at what the Kenwood or the Onkyo will do-- even in a larger room.

Thanks for the help everyone. I picked up a Onkyo kit with a Dolby/DTS receiver w/ 4 sats/sub/center speakers for a total of 650watts. Heard a display at the store sounded great about to go get this baby hooked up. Has AM/FM radio, DTS, Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, all the goodies I wanted for $620! thats with 5 year warrenty!
