if it's an active filter, I still don't see how it could change the group delay of the actual driver in the box.
I think I'm really missing out on something here...

Soundstream 1000sx. I'd actually like to get a harrison labs, but the price jump is considerable.

The dustcap doesnt hinder performance at all. Some say we would get more surface area if we had and inverted dustcap, but like I said, huge vc former, do you want durable or a couple inches of surface area. Its a no brainer to me.
