I'm not sure who owns the rights to it. It was a Herbert Brodkin production. He was a producer who did about 40 years of excellent, thought provoking TV, which means most of the morons have no idea who he is. How's this for a description - what Aaron Spelling is to schlocky crap, what Sherwood Schwartz is to idiotic, grade school humor, Herbert Brodkin is to intelligent drama.

    Luc,
It's not on DVD in Region 1. I haven't seen anything that says it will be out anytime soon.

Is this the miniseries that also starred Fritz Weaver? Also Blythe Danner? I might be thinking of another series... Trivia: who's Blythe Danner's daughter? [IMG]

    Jeff,
Yes, this is the miniseries with Fritz Weaver, James Woods, Meryl Streep, etc. Was it Streep who played Blythe Danner's daughter?

    Dana,

Thanks for the info on the miniseries. This is one that I want on DVD as well.

OT: I wasn't too clear on my "trivia" question since it wasn't directly about this miniseries, just about Blythe Danner. Sorry. :b Anyway, Blythe Danner's real-life daughter is Gwyneth Paltrow.
