I have a HK AVR325 hooked up to my pc via my sound blaster digital output. I have noticed that FM radio has more information pumped to the surround channels in Logic 7 or DPLII as opposed to listening to MP3s in Logic 7 or DPLII. This also applies to listening to TV. Most of it comes through the center channel.

Do any other HK owners notice this?

When I listen to the radio, it basically sounds as if the the persons voice is coming through the center channel, and it gives some surrounds as well.

I prefer to listen to radio sources in just plain old stereo though.

Either way, an MP3 is a very compressed file so your not gonna get the best of quality out of it. Your taking a music file that used to be about 40MB or so and compressing it to around 3MB or a little more.
