Personally I find YOUNG AND INNOCENT to be fine on Blu-ray. It's sharp (with a few exceptions), with reasonable contrast, apparently appropriate grain, and sound you can understand with acceptable clarity. The image does have some "print wear" artifacts such as verticle scratches and some dirt, but it isn't a deal-breaker. Sorry so long reporting back.
Thank you Rick and Anthony - much appreciated! I'll go ahead and place my order for Network's Young and Innocent, a film I've always loved despite only ever seeing it on soupy prints.
