I've had a Hitachi 36" for the last several months, and I've been nothing but happy with it. Beautiful picture, once I adjusted the brightness and contrast...DVDs with the Panasonic RP56 are absolutely gorgeous. IMHO, the color was perfect.
I say "was" because I was looking at the service menu and I accidently reset the "V/P", whatever that is. It was an accident because I was trying to maneuver the menu and pushed the selector to the side, and that apparently reset it. The perfect black and whites of old movies are now tinged with a sort of sepia-reddish tint, and there are no greys. Skin colors are now a slight bit too too reddish, almost...whatever that color is between a reddish-violet and purplish-reddish, reddish-flesh color.
Can anyone help me to restore that glorious picture? :b
Will Avia or VE help with this?
Thanks!
