Just wondering if anyone out there has watched any of the discs from this recently released set, or if there are any reviews so far? Am wondering specifically about the quality of the visual image and the sound...

    Thanks!

I'm considering purchasing the R4 version, so I too am interested in any reviews available.

Get the R2/4. They are in their correct aspect ratio of 1.78:1 It was not originally produced 1.33:1 as one review erroneously notes; they were merely broadcast that way in the US. The R2/4 also have some significant extras.

The series was definitely in widescreen when broadcast on the BBC.
