This is coming from Lionsgate via StudioCanal. The artwork shown on Amazon has the UK designate on it.

I removed the 30th Anniversary notation.

That was my mistake.

That indication was attached to the previously released Blu-ray

Agreed. StudioCanal titles are a crapshoot until we know the provenance.

The new U.K. 4K is the best version of “Highlander” that I own. Presumably the domestic StudioCanal release will be the same. It’s revealing of the limitations of the source, but it wasn’t really broke so they didn’t fix it. After all these years of collecting videos that’s how I like my 4K’s.

Highlander is just a really lousy looking movie so there's not much they can do with it.
