This certainly is not close to one of the most popular movies of all time, but I've always enjoyed it, particularly John Barry's gorgeous soundtrack. I have the laserdisc, but I'd like to see it on DVD with a stereo/5.1 soundtrack. (I find it really odd that a movie made in 1983 apparently has monoaural sound, but be that as it may...)

Does anyone have any news on this? Is Warner even considering the prospect?

    John,
Just wanted to show my support of this title.
An old favorite of mine...would purchase it ASAP. No news, and likely, no luck [IMG]
    You never know, though!
    Take care,
    Chuck

I love High Road to China. I'd like to see Selleck do more movies. He was perfect for that role. I've never seen him give a bad performance, and I feel he's a tremendous actor. As always, you're only as good as the role you're playing allows you to be.

Tom Selleck and John Barry make it an easy sell. If it was anamorphic OAR, I'd pick it up in a second.

This is a favorite of mine as well. I thought it was beautiful. I would buy it the day it came out.

I'd buy this in a heartbeat. Always loved this film and would really love a special edition for it.
