High FPS early on, low FPS later. (1 Viewer)

While gaming (I've only noticed this in ARK: Survival Evolved so far) I get around 70 - 90 FPS when i start playing. But after 30 or 60 minutes this drops to about 40 - 50 FPS.
This is fixed however by restarting the game, but then the cycle just repeats. It is very annoying to restart my game every hour or so.
Could it be that after a while the game goes in some kind of battery saving mode? I don't know a whole lot about computers so thats all i can think of...
For what its worth, here are my PC specs:
16 GB RAM
500 + 1TB SSD (Game installed on 1TB SSD)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 4600H.

Sometimes the GPU will start to cut back if it reaches a certain temperature.
