So dead or alive 3 and extreme beach vollyball are 1080 interlaced, the picture quality and graphics are amazing.
Does anybody know if there are any 720p games out?
is anybody else amazing by these games?

I'll confirm that DoA 3 and DoA EBV are both max 480P

I have both and have a brand new widescreen HDTV that I have played both on.

Dead or Alive is not 1080i. My set locks into anamorphic mode when a 1080i signal is recieved and it doesn't for Dead or Alive.

Dragon's Lair 3D on the other hand did lock into anamorphic mode.

If DoA3 1080i, then it's news to every XBOX owner with a HDTV. Including me. :)

If your tv is reporting that it is displaying a 1080i signal, then it is being converted from 480p to 1080i somewhere after the signal leaves the XBOX.

dead or alive looks suprisingly sharp though.
I think every game is 480p so it must be 720p surely?
it looks different to every other game I swear.

DOA series on XBOX looks very, very good. - I agree on this aspect.

But how on earth can you say it looks like 1080i HD ??

Although DOA looks very good, it clearly shows the low resolution of 480p (jaggies, low resolution textures).

Guys, you are forgetting THE MATRIX

It is 1080i. My friend brought it up and it looked amazing on my Hitachi 57SWX20B widescreen.

Even the 480 games look great though. I am very impressed with video game tech these days and its only gonna get better! :D
