And your goals. Make sure your budget and goals are complementary also. You can't recreate explosions of action movies with a $500 budget.

Mike is right. If you have the tools and the basic carpentry that comes from a 9th grade shop class then you can do it.

Should i put the speakers in the center of the wall or on the top of the wall? Would Center speakers make it effective or the top one? Which is the cheap and best reciever that i should be looking to buy? any suggestions on the wall speaker?

Tweeters should be at ear level.

Not sure what you are asking.

What features are you looking for? What is "cheap" to you?
any suggestions on the wall speaker?
We need a budget first. This should include all 5 or 7 speakers and sub(s).

Where do i mount the speakers? center of the wall or on the celings. Budget - may be $750 for 5.1 or $850 for 7.1(includes speakers and recievers) Reciever feature's: HDMI out, Ipod support, Network streaming(something like Onkyo TX-NR609) Cheap - anything that is cheap and best.. like the company(makers of the reciever/speakers) are not popular but have some good systems with a lesser price tag that can fit my budget above.. Thanks

As I said earlier, make the tweeter ear level. I have no idea how high your ceilings but the center of the wall may be too high. The ceiling is definitely too high.

Here's an example of what your budget can get. 5.1 system - http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=300-696 extra sub - http://www.parts-express.com/product/productdetails.cfm?PartNumber=300-629 receiver - http://www.buy.com/pr/product.aspx?sku=220205424&sellerid=34686737 The rest of your budget for wiring.

You never mentioned in-wall speakers. In fact on post #8, you said "any suggestions on the wall speaker?"
That clearly tells that i'm newbie.. anyways, any suggestions on the "In-Wall" speakers.. Thanks for your help...

http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10837 We rarely recommend in-wall speakers. They are a compromise in both quality and placement. But if you insist. Do you need all in-wall or some in-ceiling? In a perfect setup, the front 3 would be the same speaker. So using item 6317 as the left / center / right speakers would be good. Pick some cheaper ones for the surrounds. Sub? In-wall or stand alone? I wouldn't recommend an in-wall for any reason. There are too many drawbacks to list right now. The sub I linked to above will work just fine with any of the Monoprice speakers.
