Hello gentlemen. My first time posting here. Glad to meet you guys.

Anyway I have a question. I own a 65" Toshiba Widescreen RPTV. It's the TW65G80. Now...when I purchased this set back in 1999, I was told it wasn't HDTV compatible. I didn't have a problem with that since I don't watch too much television just DVDs and ganmes. What I did not find out however, was whether this model set supported progressive scan or not. I never paid the issue no mind until recently, when I heard about how much better progressive scan dvds and games look.

So my question is, does anyone know if the Toshiba WS TW65G80 is a progressive scan set? I looked in the manual and did not see anything mentioning whether it is or not.

Also, I am thinking of selling this set in favor of a consumer level front projector. It is in great condition and the picture is fabulous even after 4 years! Can anyone speculate on how much I can get for this set? Remember it is not HDTV compliant.

    Thanks in advance guys [IMG]

    Greetings

It does line doubling, but the set does not accept an external 480p signal.

Not much more than $1500 ... likely $1000.

    Regards
