Currently I have a basic 5:1 system in our home using a Yamaha A/R, Sony BRP, and Optoma projector, which is perfectly adequate for our current needs. In our previous house I built a similar system with an old Sanyo projector and in-wall speakers which was surprisingly good.
However we will be moving again soon, hopefully for a bigger house, where I intend to built a bigger and better set-up with a 7:2:4 arrangement, and better hardware. I have joined the forum to hopefully learn a few things, to improve my technical knowledge, and check out some of your members great looking theaters.
