Just wanted to say hi to everyone. This place looks to be very friendly and helpful, I am enjoying it very much. I just bought an Onkyo HT-S650 as my first personal(parents have a HarmonK[good]/Bose[ugh]) home theater set-up. I liked it better than the Kenwood 504, as it sounded a little cleaner. Anyways, this site is great and I look forward to being here a lot.

Chris:
Welcome to the forum! Soon two things will happen to you.
1. You will start buy more stuff over and over again.
2. You will have no money left over for anything else.
Glad to have you board.

Welcome to the Forum Chris James (2 first names huh?). This is a great place to find info, check out the various areas to get a flavour of the discussions. How extensive is your movie collection?

Thanks for the warm welcome! You guys ARE very nice, and this is good to see on an internet forum. My previous experiences have been mixed (member of a car forum and an online gaming forum), with half being good people and the others there to start trouble.
As for the name, it's my first and middle name. I admit it's a little strange looking, but gotta keep my lastname secret! My movie collection is probably small by most standards, with 120 DVDs and around 290 VHS that were bought previous to DVD's introduction. BUT, I'm working on building it everyday! Well, gotta go read these forums :)
