I am thinking of getting a Sony WEGA...it has 2 or 3 Hi-Def Component Inputs. My question is this: is it ok to hook up NON hi-def things to these? For example, my PS2 has component outputs, but it is not Hi-Def. Is this ok to hook up? Do they only recommend connecting Hi-Def products to those inputs?

It's incorrect to call those inputs HDTV inputs, because they can accept 1080i, 720p, (the only two HD formats), 480p (prog scan DVD), and 480i (your PS2). Anything that has component outputs can be hooked up to your wide-band component inputs.

Ok, cool. Just to let you know, the brochure for that TV says "has 2 HD-component inputs."
