At buy.com they have the Olympus C-960 1.3Megapixel camera for $150 ($135 after coupon) with free shipping. My dad is considering getting digital camera, and foudn this to be a good price. We wont really be printing alot of the pics, postly for just archiving pics and maybe posting them online. Is 1.3 adequate??? Does anybody have any images they can show me so i can see how big/detailed 1.3mp is?

Theres the link to it. Does anybody know if this comes with any memory??? And how much max it can hold? I know it uses Smartmedia cards. Are olympus digital cameras any good?
I've also seen a refurbed Olympus C-211 Digicam, which is 2.1 MP, but is also $60 more. But this one has a built in printer, do you think its worth $60 for the extra resolution and printer features?

If ur only doing that archiving online and stuff, I would think it would be fine. Olympus makes some of the finest digicams around. I've actually seen one, my neighbor had one like it. But u might consider going to a higher res because somewhere along the road, u'll take a great picture and wanna print it out. And ur camera might not be at put out good pq. This happened to me when I got a 1.2 megapixel. Good thing I could still return it and got a 3.1 instead.

If u can "demo" it at home for a few days, then that would be ideal.

I did some research on that cam Nick and it does seem to be a very good price. There are ones on ebay going for $179. It was hard to find info and reviews on this model, plus it's not on Olympus's site so I'm guessing it's discontinued. Still doesn't mean it's not a good camera.

From the reviews I gathered that it's a great camera for the price but isn't as user friendly as others in its price range. And from looking at the specs on various sites it looks like it can only take pics in 2 resolutions: 1280x960 and 640x480.

If you find any other info on it please relay it back to us. I'm interested in buying this myself. And where do you get that $15 off coupon?

Nick I think I'm just gonna go with the Canon Powershot A10. USB, better quality, 1.3 Mp and $154 here.
