Hey laserdisc gurus, some info on the Pioneer CLD-1070?

    My dad just got a used Pioneer CLD-1070 laserdisc player for $15 canadian ($10 USD, great price eh?) well i was just wondering where i can find more info on the player?

    Hmm... that site says my player has an optical (toslink) output, but its nowhere to be found on mine. Dang, i wanted to get Jurassic park in DTS.

    I bet the PAL equivalent model had the optical output. The 1070 was a budjet model in 1989. I remember looking at one way back then and seeing no reason to upgrade from my LD-838D. Best wishes!
