Hey, am finally finishing my basic home theatre, with the price drops on the Yamaha rx -a3030 down to the $1500 range i finally splurged. I'm going to be adding some more speakers, i'll have some questions about those. Hope that receiver lives up to it's reputation.

I'm into satellite stuff, mostly FTA including c band. Also have a pretty rocking collection of vintage 60's early 70's color tv's and tv/stereos combinations what we refer to as combo's.

I'll be posting some questions and pics of my daily driver soon. But to break the ice, here's some pics of home theatre when cigarettes were $.20 a pack, lol. I have about 20 vintage sets.

I know a person who figured out how to remove the tube from one of those(the tube had died...) and replaced it with a 4:3 LCD with a a self-made trim ring.
