Year One with Jack Black and Michael Cera look hilarious.
Loved the line with Michael Cera about not bringing his sword but just brought the sword holder, cause he didn't know what the sword holder was for. Also, "Let's choose who stones us to death." "Let the kid stone us."
Land of the Lost(which I was really looking forward to) looks terrible
I do like Fast and Furious tag line. New Model, Original Parts
Star Trek...big Transformers...another big Land of the Lost....a huge Year One....might end up being funny, but the teaser sucked Fast and the Furious....I'm guilty of liking the first one so GI Joe and Angels & Demons both looked OK.
I liked the commercials for Up and Star Trek and while the commercial was lousy, I still want to see Year One. I had no interest in and the commercials did nothing to change my mind about Fast And The Furious, Land Of The Lost, Transformers 2 or G.I. Joe.
To me, Up looks terrible. I'm burnt on Pixar, their films fail to impress me more and more. Looks like it will be a trek to the theater for Land of the Lost, family just watched the trailer and they all want to see it. Oh well....
I know it has been said plenty of times before but Pixar's trailers for their films are never very impressive. Of course, you've iterated before that TOY STORY was the only Pixar film that has impressed you. You, generally, have said that almost all of the Pixar product bores you. Why would UP be different?
I hope for the best, that maybe they'd put a little more effort into their films, sadly the trailers don't reflect that. Who knows, maybe the next one will be better. Hopefully TS3 doesn't end up like their recent films.
I just watch the one for UP. That looks real cute. Im there! Wall*E was a mixed bag for me personally. The first 30 minutes was like ET. Magic. But it turns into Futurama or something. Magic gone. Still entertaining but too jarring. So I hope UP doesn't follow that formula. Also, leave the live action people out of it!!
Pixar's trailers have never really showed much, which I actually kind of like because I'm always pleasantly surprised when I go see the film, unlike a lot of other trailers that show the best parts and the rest of the movie is ruined. That being said, I think from what I've seen so far, UP looks really cute (and that clip on their site is both funny and adorable!)
