I've gotten up to 100 feet away with it working perfectly. Now, granted, that's not very useful, but its still cool regardless.

about the only useful thing i have done with a wavebird is be able to hit the kitchen and still be able to hit the "A" button repeatedly to get from one town to another while playing Animal Crossing. the no-cord feature is fantastic, no more kids pulling the 'cube off the shelf like they did repeatedly with the now dead 64.
