O.J. Simpson is being quizzed over the disappearance of his on-off girlfriend. The athlete-turned-actor was interviewed by cops after friends of Christine Prody - who Simpson has dated - said they hadn't seen her for a month. Police earlier broke into Prody's Florida home after neighbors reported a foul smell coming from the hallway, which turned out to be her dead cat. Despite his stormy relationship with the 27-year-old, a spokesman for Simpson's attorney Yale Galanter insisted it was "absurd" to connect the actor to Prody's disappearance. She says, "They don't even date anymore and OJ didn't even know she had a cat." Simpson, who was acquitted in 1995 of the murder of his wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman, is not connected to the case. Two years ago Prody's mother publicly urged her to leave Simpson because he seemed to be treating her like his murdered ex-wife.

Maybe the cat died when no one came home to leave food and water? Then the police knew she was missing since no cat owner would go away without taking care that the cat was fed and its box cleaned.

This would be too perfect a crime to involve OJ. If a body were found on the sidewalk surrounded by the killers hat, glove, blood, and footprints then I'd want to know if a white Bronco was seen fleeing the scene.

OJ is pathetic. Did anyone hear is interview when he was talking about Eminem's performance on the Grammy's last year? He said he can totally relate to the song that Eminem sang. The song was Stan and it is about a delusional fan who kills his wife. This man is so guilty it is not even funny.
My favorite question asked to OJ by Gary Garber of the Howard Stern show: "OJ, are you keeping your knife sharp for your next girlfriend?"
