I am a huge Henry Fonda and Jimmy Stewart fan, I try to watch and record to my dvd burner when they have a bunch of their movies on TCM.

Here's hoping that these first two tities get released on dvd soon, as my burner fritzed up on me and my discs did not finalize or render so I missed out on these. Did anyone else happen to catch these on tcm?

The Rounders
Welcome to Hard Times

The logos say MGM, but do these titles count as now owned by Warners, or are they still MGM?

Some other titles I would love to have are

The Dirty Game (but I have no idea who own this)
Sex and the Single Girl (Warner I believe)

I'd also like Widescreen re-releases of
Yours Mine Ours and
Great Smokey Roadblock

Post the titles that you want. We can only hope that the studios see that we want these and maybe they'll be next on the list

I suspect that Sex and Single Girl might be coming out in some type of Natalie Wood release. Also, I expect The Rounders to make it out too, but not so confident about the other titles. My favorite Fonda request is The Mad Miss Manton with Barbara Stanwyck.

I want Chad Hanna on DVD. It's a very charming early Henry Fonda movie with Dorothy Lamour and Linda Darnell.

The Rounders and Welcome to Hard Times were released in theatres by MGM and rights are now controlled by Warner Brothers. The Dirty Game was released in theatres by American International Pictures and rights are now controlled by MGM.

I am also looking forward to a release of The Rounders and The Mad Miss Matron. Perhaps these two and Welcome to Hard Times could be the foundation of a Henry Fonda set (Hint Hint Warner Brothers).

There has never been any kind of video release of The Dirty Game, but MGM is full of surprises these days, so I guess we should not count it out.

if i wanted to contact mgm in an e-mail to request these movies on dvd...I try to do that to the studios once in a while, let them know that people want these, do these e-mails from dvdtalk work? I can no longer find a contact listing on mgm.com

[email protected] or [email protected]
Would these be the e-mails that I would want to use?
