Help with my Toshiba SD-3800 (1 Viewer)

Please help me with my DVD player.
I can't make it output digital audio to my toslink and into my receiver.

I have a Denon AVR-3300 and it keeps detecting nothing from the Toslink and defaulting to Dolby Pro Logic.

Does anyone know how to setup the Toshiba SD-3800.

Gary,

I own a Toshiba 3109(older unit) and you might have to go into the setup menu and select the output to Bitstream. Also, check the receivers input configuration and make sure the Toslink selection is made and not the Coaxial digital or analogue. Lastly, if all else fails, check the Toslink cable by using a different cable. I have had a couple of Toslink cables go bad, pretty easy to crimp/twist in the labyrinth of cables behind most equipment.

My toslink is indeed pretty old. It is at least 3 years old, the last time I bought a DVD player. I'll check that out.
