    hi all -

what i'm trying to do is find duplicate logins from two separate tables.

i've already designed the query and linked the tables, but i can't remember how to tell access to search for dups.

    any ideas?

    thx,

    ted

something like "select count(*) as total from table1 group by column1 having count(*) > 1" would show you duplicates

thanks kolya - i may mess around with that.
    however, i'm a dumbass.
all i had to do was link the two fields. then double-click that "link line" (or whatever it's called) and specify to only show items that match.
    ugh! [IMG]

    [IMG] No problem
You were telling Access to perform an "inner join"
