I have a pro-amp rated at [email protected] and cannot figure out how to put that in the measurement setup box,it says watts into 8ohms not 4. How do I do this and what about the source resistance? Under driver unit configuration I would select separate sources? By the way I am using a tempest in a 176L sonotube.

    Hi Bob!
For 4 Ohm power input, LspCAD calculates by doubling the power with the input at 8 Ohms.
In your example, you would input 150W if you have a driver(s) TOTAL a 4 Ohm load depending on the connection of your driver(s).(VCs and how they are connected)
    150 X 2 = 300W
    To go along further:
For the same voltage say 2.83Veff we get
    8ohm 1W
    4ohm 2W
    2ohm 4W
    1ohm 8W
    0.5ohm 16W
Note however that for 0.5ohm you would probably have to account for things
    such as wire resistances etc.
    I hope this helps.
