I've decided to make the leap to satellite television and TIVO. I was thinking about buying Sony's SAT-T60 DirecTV/TIVO recorder but I'm hoping to get some opinions from the experts before I buy.
Is the SAT-T60 the best option out there? I've already decided that I want a satellite/recorder combo unit.
Is the Sony SAN-24MD1 a good dish to match with this receiver?
Any recommendations on where to find to the best price?
And finally - Is there any news about Sony coming out with a new version of a receiver/recorder in the near future?
Thanks for your help. Bill

Bill, do you get your local channels from DirecTV, or via antenna/cable? Just a word of "warning", that the DirecTiVo combo units can't record anything that's not coming from the dish. Only the standalone units can record from multiple input sources.
If you get your locals via the dish, or don't intend to record them, you're fine with the DirecTiVo.
