i posted this in the builders forum but got no replies so i'll try here. i'm helping my uncle set up his h.t. next week and he is wanting to install an antenna to receive hdtv signals. he lives in a large two story house with a large walk in attic, he was told by someone we could install the antenna in the attic as opposed to on top of the roof. will this work? also in addition to the hd antenna he has a satellite antenna, can we run some kind of splitter for the coax or must we run two cables? thanks for any advice.

Paul, yes you can install the antenna in the attic, however you will get much better reception with it mounted outside. As for combining the Sat & Ant signals you can get combiners that will work for this at your local Radio Shack or I have even seen them at Meijer, Lowe's,& Menard's before.
