Help with an older Mitsubishi *urgent* (1 Viewer)

Help!!! I'm the proud new second owner of a Mitsubishi VS-6015R (60" analog RPTV) that's about 12 years old. I got it for $500 and I'm pretty happy. My problem is that I have to move it into my new apartment tomorrow and I may have to turn it on it's side at the top of the stairs in order to get it in the door. Will this hurt the TV???

This thing weighs a ton and I'm already worried about getting it up the stairs.

If anybody has any info or suggestions that might help, I would greatly appreciate them. If anybody in SoCal knows of good TV movers I would love to get that info also.

Never mind, we made it. It took 5 guys and more than a few curses and bruises, but it's up here.
