Help with a movie title. Thanks (1 Viewer)

A few days ago my parents were trying to explain a horror movie that they saw at the drive-in around the '70's. You know how irritating it is to know of it but not know the title. I thought it would be interesting to tell them so there happy. They said it was pretty popular. My dad said there was a part where they rolled some guy down a hill in a barrel with spikes driven though it. Also there was a part where another guy chopped the hand of someone. That is all they could explain the chopping of the hand I could understand being vague, but I haven't seen many spiked barrels rolling down hills lately in my movies.

The barrel-rolling scene sounds like it is from the Herschell Gordon Lewis gorefest entitled 2000 MANIACS, a sick retelling of BRIGADOON, if you can believe it.
