I now have a Technics SA DX 1050 Receiver
What would the best receiver be for the equipment I have?
    Front Speakers:2 Polk RT35i
    Center Speaker:1 Polk CS245i
    Surrounds : 2 Infinity INI QPS1
    Subwoofer : 1 Polk PWS450i
Carvin DCM 1000 (to run ButtKicker)
    Panasonic DVD RV31
How could I best upgrade the equipment I have ?
Which is the weakest link in my system????
    Thanks, Lissie

What is your budget for the upgrade of your system?
From what I've seen, it appears the weakest link in your system is the receiver. Upgrade it to a Yamaha, Denon, Marantz, Outlaw, or Onkyo. After that, I'd say the surrounds. Since you already have Polk you may want to buy the matching Polk surrounds. Next up is the sub. Upgrade that to either a HSU, Adire Audio Rava or Dharman, SVS, or Paradigm PW-2200.
There should be several people in the Dallas area that have internet only gear that you can audition. You may want to get in touch with some of those people.
