Not sure but I think....
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (Marilyn Monroe)
Can anyone confirm whether or not the picture of Marilyn is from GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES?
I have the magazine and I'm familiar with the poll. But, that still photo isn't from any of the top ten films (critics OR directors), at least, not as much as I can tell.
I think it's Marilyn Monroe, perhaps SOME LIKE IT HOT?
Sorry, still confused about that still.
Well, since Gentlemen Prefer Blondes only garnered one vote in the polling, I doubt it would get a cover shot. I would agree with your suggestion that it is Some Like It Hot, which came in at #32 in their polling.
Thought I would bump this to the top. I would really like to find out what film that still of Marilyn is from. Is it GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDS or SOME LIKE IT HOT?
It seems like a publicity still from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, but I have no idea why it made the cover for this story (other than it being a nice thing to look at cheesecake shots of Marilyn).
