I am looking at getting a RPTV, and of course I woud like to have DVI. However, all TV's that I have seen only have one DVI input on the back. Does that mean I have to choose just one DVI compatible device to hook up? I did see a Samsung add that suggested daisy chaining the devices together? Also, DVI comes in four varities right? Why is getting a HDCP compatible input so important?

Dang no answers... DVI is very new, and still getting some "bugs" worked out.

HDCP has to do with copy protection schemes.

I have only recently read of daisy chained DVI devices, I'll bet that part of DVI has bugs too. :)

I did not get it on my new set, but just suggested to somebody else, I'll bet it is more important in the future.

Shoot, I am using component video for the first time ever even.... lol
