I don't know if this helps, but THE SONG OF BERNADETTE is about to be released in the UK (on April 15th) in another limited edition of 2000, Region B only, with the overture but not the isolated score. I imagine this is the same master as the Twilight Time disc.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Song-Bernadette-Eureka-Classics-Blu-ray/dp/B07NBCYGXW/ref=sr_1_fkmrnull_1?crid=2MGCSJOFK2T2L&keywords=the+song+of+bernadette+blu+ray&qid=1554477469&s=gateway&sprefix=the+somg+of+bernadette,aps,667&sr=8-1-fkmrnull

Probably it will not be the same master used by Twilight Time, that was a very old one, exactly the same used for the Fox Studio Classics dvd. After Twilight Time released Song of Bernadette on bluray, Fox submitted the title to a 4k Restoration that was premiered in one of the TCM Film Festivals. Hopefully, this will be the source for the New Eureka bluray (If so, I will purchase it and replace my old TT Bluray).

Not to mention its also part of the 2 for £25 bundle at Eureka:

https://eurekavideo.co.uk/promotions/2-for-25/

I just picked it up along with One, Two, Three. And there's free shipping at Eureka.

I thought the regular SDhad poor sound. is the same poor sound on the twilight time. the laserdisc sounded far better.

I don't remember the 1943 Mono Audio track being bad at all on the TT disc
The couple of reviews I can find seem to back up that memory.

I don;t have the LD to compare to

RAH review here and the Bluray.com review gave audio a 4.
Matt's review thought a little less of it and gave it a 3.

If the original elements are destroyed as it sounds then it may be a bit hard to improve on what's there.

Eureka is not touting a new 4k transfer thus I'm inclined to believe it is the same transfer as the TT disc.

So am I, though I'd like to be proven wrong. Arthur Miller's cinematography is luminous (I saw a 35mm nitrate print from the Fox vault).

But Eureka does not always announce their releases as 4k transfers, despite some of them being so. This happened with Cover Girl. While their release was sourced from the 4k sony restoration (light years better than TT transfer), this information was never included in any press release / package of the disc. Let’s wait for some reviews.

I certainly hope it’s a new transfer because I thought the TT very disappointing - not much better than the DVD. However given that the Eureka includes the same audio commentary and added overture I fear it may well be the same transfer.

It’s just that it does not seem reasonable that Eureka uses the same old transfer that TT used 8 years ago (and that was already old by that time), when there is a new dcp that is 3 years old by now. But I agree that anything can happen.

Well, from this review that I just found online, it seems that the Eureka bluray will port the 4k restoration.

http://www.thespinningimage.co.uk/cultfilms/displaycultfilm.asp?reviewid=12295

It states at the end of the text: "[Eureka have released this on Blu-ray, fully restored and looking luminous. Not loads of extras, but you do get the overture, the trailer, and a booklet.]"

The Twilight transfer looks everything but luminous. Therefore...

I have the Eureka version and am pleased to say that it is clearly from the new transfer. You'd think Eureka would have wanted to advertise that fact. It looks substantially better than the Twilight Time version but I still need to keep my TT version for the isolated score!
Thank you for the confirmation!
