Help--Sound and Audio are not in Synch (1 Viewer)

I've got a HTS with a Yamaha RXV-1400 and a Screenplay 7200. I've had the system going for a few months now. In the last few weeks, we've noticed that the sound is lagging about a second behind the picture--which is REALLY annoying during dialogue. It's occurring on both Directv and DVD. Has anyone encountered this situation? I cannot find anything in the technical manuals.

I do have a three-year-old boy with a love for gadgets. In the past, he has created problems by playing with bright shiny objects. I'm wondering if he did that here.

Check the delay setting in the Audio Set menu. This setting is specifically designed to help with lip sync problems.
