Help: Sony VPLXW5000ES Projector question (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I saw that the VPLXW5000ES hasdbeen reduced by $1k. I went ahead and bought it even though my Sony 295ES is still going strong after its 4th bulb. Any recommendations on where and how to store the VPLXW5000ES until I need to "use it"? it could be months before I install.

Boxed up in a cool room out of sunlight. Seems pretty nuts to buy a new display before you need it tho. I’d install that right away

Fair point, however...it was reduced by 1k for about a week.....not sure if it ever will be reduced that low and given tariffs it might even increase more.
