I've been hooking up my new ONkyo SR806. On the initial set up it asks if your speakers are 4 OHM or 6 OHM. My speakers are 8 OHM, there isn't an option for 8 OHM. What do I do?

I will most likely have many more questions on setting this up, I appreaciate everyone's help.

Thanks

You can set it for either with your speakers since your speakers can handle up to 8 OHM. I personally would not use the 4 OHM setting with 8 OHM speakers because you will be severely limiting their power output. I would use the 6 OHM setting.

From page 47 of your manual:
6ohms: Select if the impedances of all
speakers are between 6 and
16 ohms

THanks guys, I read that section in the directions but I must've misread that part.
