I just got a d-link dsb-v100 screen capture card. I hooked it up to a dvd player using a s-video connection. I am was able to capture a pic using the software. But, since it only does mpeg-1. I am able to save as a bmp file. But, when I tried importing into Microsoft Publisher it gives me an error. I contacted D-Link and they said that I need a program to resize the picture without distorting it. He suggested Photo Shop. But, those programs are very expensive. Is their any cheaper ,or better yet shareware, programs to resize the pics so I can use them with Publisher?

Thanks!

Paint Shop Pro is shareware and it is a very handy program for simple image manipulation, like resizing... In addition, this program supports nearly every image format imaginable, even Amiga formats! It's a great complimental piece to Photoshop... :)
