Help please. Audio lag with soundbar (1 Viewer)

I have an LG slim IQ65" TV. I added a Sony soundbar. The sound bar is hooked up via fiber optic and hdmi. I'm getting a .5 second delay in the audio vs using my normal TV speakers. While watching a person speak, it reminds me of the old gorilla movies. The lips doesn't match the audio.

I have an older 7.1dts system I had prior to having a kid, and it's not feasible to put it all back up.

Are you using the optical or HDMI?

Both. I tried it only hdmi arc (removed optical) and it still lags.

You can only use one, and hdmi is most likely to cause problems. So I’d try just optical.
